Inspection reports

Licensing officers monitor care facilities in Northern Health to ensure compliance with the provincial legislation. An inspection report is provided to the licensee after each inspection. The inspection report provides the licensee with information regarding the regulatory requirements that are not met, and for these, states corrective actions and a corrective date to address outstanding concerns.

Posted inspection reports will not:

  • Recommend a care facility to you
  • Rank or rate care facilities against one another
  • Issue a report card that grades care facilities on their current status in meeting the current regulations
  • Provide information on inspections that are not routine inspections or follow up visits to a routine inspection
