Northern Health is preparing in response to expanded evacuation alerts and orders resulting from wildfire activity in the Peace region and preparing accordingly for any impact on local health services.

There has been an increase in overdoses in Prince George linked to a red colored drug sold as “down.” Drug checking services found high levels of fentanyl (15-20%) and bromazolam (10-15%) a benzodiazepine.
