Air Quality

Northern Health works closely with the ministries of Environment and Health, and various other agencies on matters relating to air quality in the North.

B.C.'s Ministry of Environment issues air quality advisories in collaboration with Northern Health. Active advisories in the NH region will be posted here during regular business hours. They can also be found on the B.C. Air Quality website.

Environment Canada also posts air quality advisories as Special Weather Statements for British Columbia at the time they are issued.
