About Aboriginal Health

Aboriginal Health Team

Executive Director

Paul Hanki, Executive Director, Aboriginal Health is responsible for providing leadership to the planning, coordination, integration, operation and evaluation of Aboriginal programs, policies and services throughout Northern Health. The position provides leadership to the Executive Team with the purpose of improving service delivery systems. A key deliverable is a development and implementation of the planning process for Aboriginal Health.

Community Engagement Coordinator

Agnes Snow, Community Engagement Coordinator liaises with NH Staff, Care North Staff and Aboriginal communities/agencies who promote health and well being for Aboriginal people to identify opportunities for integrated health services. Using a community development and quality improvement approach assists in planning and development of health programs to improve access and utilization of mainstream services as identified in the Aboriginal Health Services Plan.

Executive Assistant

Under the general direction of the Executive Director, Aboriginal Health, provides clerical and administrative support for day-to-day activites of the Executive Director, Aboriginal Health. Provides leadership to the process of allocating contracted services to Aboriginal communities, by assisting community members to analyze, implement, monitor and evaluate contracted services and educating members of contracting organizations in the development and evaluation of outcomes. Monitors the contracts for the Community Programs and the Aboriginal Health Initiatives Programs.
