Child Safety Seats

One of the most important steps in keeping children safe in vehicles is to make sure they are properly secured in the right kind of child seat.

According to BC Law...

Infants must ride in a rear facing car-seat until they are at least 1 year old AND 9kg (20 lbs).

Children over 1 year and 9kg (20 lbs) must ride in a forward facing seat with a harness until they are at least 18 kg (40 lbs).

All children under 9 years of age must ride in a booster seat, unless they are 145 cm (4' 9") tall.
