Media inquiries

The NH Media Line (250-961-7724) is for the use of Northern BC, provincial and national media.

This media cell is carried at all times by a Northern Health communications officer. During business hours (8 AM to 5 PM), calls will be answered or returned immediately. After hours and on weekends, voicemail messages will be reviewed; urgent messages will be returned immediately, and non-urgent requests will be attended to at or before the start of the next business day.

Purchasing and RFP inquiries

Northern Health’s Materiel Services Department coordinates all purchasing activities for the health region. The department also prepares all tenders and requests for proposals, evaluates all responses, and makes contract award recommendations.

Northern Health uses the provincial government's BC Bid service to post tender opportunities and Requests for Proposals. To view Northern Health’s listings, click the browse by organization option and select Northern Health from the alphabetical list.
